Olly Murs 'using online dating app after Melanie Sykes split'
Olly Murs is said to be using an online dating app after splitting from TV presenter Melanie Sykes, however, if you were hoping to happen upon the singer using bog-standard Tinder or Bumble then we have some bad news.
The app that Olly is using is an exclusive celebrity dating website with a strict vetting process – meaning that averages Joes are unable to sign up.
Named Raya, anybody who uses the app must be approved by a panel of judges, have a large social media following, and pay a monthly fee.
In fact, it has previously been said that any prospective members who have not been recommended by a current one will “rarely” be approved.
The Sun report that Olly’s Raya profile shows a black and white photo of him as well as a link to his Twitter profile.
Kelly Osbourne, Danny Cipriani and Dele Alli are among the other famous names to have reportedly used the app.
Last month, it was revealed that Olly had been secretly dating 47-year-old Melanie for over a year, although neither star confirmed or denied the romance before it allegedly fizzled out.
A source told The Sun at the time: “They were initially introduced through a mutual friend. They started texting for ages and some of the messages ended up getting quite saucy.”
Mother-of-two Melanie previously confessed that she loves younger men, sharing: “I always go for younger men. I’m very silly and you don’t tend to meet that many 40-year-old men who want to lark around.”
Yahoo Celeb UK have contacted Olly’s rep for comment.
