The One Show in schedule shake-up as it's booted out of usual slot

Fans of The One Show should be aware that the programme will not be airing in its usual 7pm slot on BBC One and BBC iPlayer this Monday, June 24. Instead, the beloved series, typically hosted by Alex Jones, Roman Kemp, and Jermaine Jenas, has been moved due to the broadcaster's commitment to showing UEFA Euro 2024 coverage.

The show has seen a few disruptions lately, with football previously bumping it from the schedule, and a politics special also taking precedence as the General Election looms.

During Friday's episode, Welsh presenter Alex gave viewers a heads-up about the change, saying: "We'll be back on Monday on BBC Two with Michael Sheen, and we are talking to Arlene Phillips, Jeevan Braich, and Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber about Starlight Express have a lovely weekend."

So, for those keen to catch the latest from The One Show, you'll need to flick over to BBC Two and tune in at the slightly later time of 7:10pm.

The rescheduling is to accommodate The Panorama Interviews with Nick Robinson featuring Adrian Ramsay of the Green Party at 7pm, while the build-up to the Croatia v Italy match in Germany will commence at 7:30pm, leading up to an 8pm kick-off.

On Tuesday, 25th June, The One Show will be shifted to BBC Two at 7:10pm to accommodate the France v Poland match that begins at 5pm. This pattern continues throughout the week, with The One Show broadcasting on BBC Two at 7:05pm on Wednesday, 26th June and 7pm on Friday, 28th June, reports Wales Online.

The One Show isn't the only programme to be pulled from the schedule as Casualty won't air on Saturday evening.

As the Euro 2024 coverage continues to dominate, fans will be forced to miss out on their latest dose of drama from the A&E department in Holby.

The third episode of the latest series, Storm Damage, has been postponed and it's not yet know when it will air. The 12-part series has seen the Casualty cast battle a powerful storm with Cam at the centre of the chaos.
