The One Show's Alex Jones says 'I'm in love' as she introduces 'new little babies'

The One Show presenter Alex Jones has said she's "in love" as she introduced her fans to her "new little babies" after welcoming some cute additions to the family. Earlier this week, Alex shared an incubator with eggs inside and said she was hopeful they were going to hatch into little chicks.

Alex, who shares Teddy, seven, Kit, four, and Annie, two, with husband Charlie Thomson, promised to keep her followers up to date as she waited for the eggs to hatch, and following the arrival of a few, Alex shared an adorable video on Instagram.

She said: "Here they are. My new little babies. I've been glued to the spot since I got back from work. I can't believe how cute they are. They keep falling asleep and then one starts chirping and then it wakes all the others."

She continued: "They must be exhausted, they're so strong though considering they were born a few hours ago. Crossing fingers now for egg five and three."

Alex added: "Gosh I love them, I can't wait to bring them out of the incubator tomorrow and into the brooder, and have a little cuddle."

Commenting on the post, one fan wrote: "Oh my they are so cute," while a second added: "Ah, how fabulous! A great thing to do with the kids."

And a third said: "We did this when my girls were little, so magical just before they hatch and the eggs start to chirp! Congratulations on your new babies," as a fourth commented: "Aaah!!
