The Heroes and Villains episode aired in 1996 and included one of the most memorable scenes throughout the Only Fools and Horses series. The Christmas special follows Del Boy (David Jason) and his younger brother Rodney (Nicholas Lyndhurst) and their quest to attend the party of a local publican.

The notorious wheeler-dealers from Peckham dress up as Batman and Robin and head to the event, but it doesn't go to plan. When their yellow van breaks down the pair finish their journey on foot but soon find themselves caught up in a mugging.

Councillor Murray is about to get in her car when a gang of thieves tries and steal her bag. But the muggers are interrupted and soon scarper when Del and Rodney run down the street dressed as the superheroes.
