Yahoo News Outer Range confirms season 2 release date with first-look photos
Prime Video has released a first look at season two of Outer Range, as well as confirming its release date.
The streamer announced today (March 13) that season two of the Josh Brolin led time-travelling, neo-western series will premiere on May 16, with Brolin set to make his directorial debut for the penultimate episode of the season.
Newly released images for the upcoming episodes show Brolin back in character as rancher Royal Abbott, as well as Imogen Poots' Autumn looking disheveled and bloodied while sat in a car.
There's also stills of Noah Reid's Billy Tillerson and Tamara Podemski as Deputy Sheriff Joy Hawk alongside series newcomer Kimberly Guerrero.

Season two of Outer Range is set to see more showdowns between the Abbott and Tillerson families as well as the aftermath of Amy's (Olive Abercrombie) disappearance and lingering mystery of the time-travelling void on the west pasture of the families' farm.
A synopsis for the second season reads: "The mystery surrounding the enigmatic void on the west pasture of the Abbott family ranch deepens in Season Two, as Royal and his wife Cecelia (Lili Taylor) struggle to keep their family together in the aftermath of their granddaughter's sudden disappearance.
"The stakes have never been higher for the Abbotts, who now face threats on multiple fronts."
Season two will consist of seven episodes and see Lewis Pullman, Wayne Patton, Shaun Sipos and Isabel Arraiza amongst the returning cast.

It's not yet known if Tom Pelphrey's Perry will be back after the character ended season one by jumping into the time-travelling void.
But there's good news for fans who have been waiting patiently for the new season. That's because all seven episodes will be available when the season premieres in May.
