The children from BBC comedy Outnumbered have reunited for Christmas – and fans can’t believe how quickly they’ve grown up.

Ramona Marquez, who played Karen, the youngest member of the Brockman family, shared an Instagram photo with her on-screen siblings Daniel Roche (Ben) and Tyger Drew-Honey (Jake), and captioned the post “Ya fav trio.”

The stars, who appeared on the show from 2007 to 2014 and reunited for a festive special in 2016, are now aged 17, 19 and 22 respectively, but Marquez’s followers were still shocked by their dramatically different appearance.

“I can’t wrap my head around them ageing,” wrote one fan, with another adding: “Feels weird seeing you lot as adults.”

“Cue the ‘haven’t they grown up’ comments,” joked another.

Marquez, who has appeared in films including The King’s Speech and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, also posted a picture of the trio posing with Outnumbered creators Guy Jenkin and Andy Hamilton. He captioned the shot: “The whole cru.”

Earlier this year, Drew-Honey hinted that another reunion episode could be on the cards, after the 2016 special received a positive reception from viewers. “I think the most regular basis we’ll get with it will be not as regular as a series, an episode every week,” he told Pointless host Alexander Armstrong in April.

“But Andy Hamilton has mentioned a few times that he’d love to, every couple of years, or every few year, do some sort of Outnumbered special because we hope that everyone would still be interested in finding out how we’re all getting on.”

It was reported in July that Hugh Dennis and Claire Skinner, who played parents Sue and Pete Brockman, are dating in real life after breaking up with their previous spouses.

A source revealed to the Sun that the couple had been together since March 2017, and told the paper: “It’s always a sad moment when a marriage breaks up. So to have found each other after the ending of both their relationships is rather lovely.”
