Yahoo News Overnight road closures near Heathrow, Reigate and Esher this week and bank holiday weekend
Overnight road closures near Heathrow, Reigate and Bagshot in Surrey this week could disrupt drivers. This coming bank holiday weekend, Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5, some drivers may take alternative routes.
Across the weekenbd, drivers will mostly find difficulty between Frimley and Bagshot, where a section of the carriageway will completely close. Aside from the bank holiday weekend, those joining the M4 at Heathrow earlier on in the week will not be able to.
This could cause delays and slight traffic near the airport and on the busy stretch of the M25 leading up to it. Elsewhere on the M25 other closures will be in place between junctions 9 and 8 near Reigate.

On the A3, there will be limited closures earlier on in the week. Later on in the week, closures near Esher will be in place, along the carriageway with diversions organised.
Drivers taking routes that are shut will need to follow yellow diversion boards set up by National Highways. Ignoring yellow road closure signs can lead to car insurance invalidations.
