Oxfordshire man charged after 'killing a deer and hunting mammals'

An Oxfordshire man has been charged after allegedly "killing a deer and hunting mammals with dogs".

Benjamin Thomson, of North Street, Thame, was charged with eight offences after an incident at Stert Road, Kingston Blount.

Thomson, 20, was charged with possessing a knife blade sharp pointed article in a public place as well as killing a deer at night.

He was also charged with killing a deer without the consent of the owner.

Thomson was also charged with entering the land without consent of the owner, another charge of knowingly permitting a dog to be used for hunting a wild mammal, and another of trespassing on land at night with intent to take or kill a rabbit.

He will next appear in court on February 25.
