Parents reveal baby names they regret giving their kids

Parents have revealed the names they regret calling their children, including Aurora and Hunter.

Picking a name for your kids can often be a tricky task, with many mums and dads admitting they thought of a better choice later.

Nearly three-quarters of British parents changed their mind after deciding on a name, according to Gigacalculator.com.

Getting teased at school or a celebrity naming their child the same were top reasons for regrets, Wales Online reports.

Others went along with what their partner wanted, while some backtracked after their friend picked the same moniker for their child.

According to the survey, Hunter was the boys name parents regret the most, with 32 per cent of people who chose it saying they didn't like it now.

For girls, Aurora is the name parents most regret, with 35 per cent of those who took part in the research no longer liking the name.
