Paris also shared a quote from Ernest Hemingway that read: "Every man's life ends the same way.
“It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another."
Many friends and fans chimed in to remember the singer, including hotel heiress Paris Hilton.
The 39-year-old was friends with the singer for many years, and spoke out in support of him following the latest raft of child abuse allegations.
“Love and miss him,” she wrote.
Jackson’s sister La Toya also shared a picture of the late star as she called him “the greatest soul and entertainer in the world”.
“You will always be in our hearts!” she said.
“May you continue to rest in peace! We love you!”
Jackson, also father of sons Prince Michael and Blanket, died in 2009 at the age of 50 following an overdose of the anaesthetic propofol.

Child abuse allegations about the singer resurfaced last year with the documentary Leaving Neverland, in which two men claim that he abused them when they were children.
Jackson’s relatives and estate disputed the allegations, saying the claims were an attempt to cash in on the late singer.
