An MP candidate's office was vandalised two days before the General Election and a cash reward is being offered for information.

Independent Tanushka Marah's campaign office in Hove was attacked overnight on Tuesday.

Two campaigners arrived there on Wednesday to find the front door glued shut and her banner graffitied, leaving the word “anus”.

Now the owner of the unit is offering a cash reward for information that could lead to a conviction.

A spokeswoman for Tanushka’s campaign said a theatre and school that she works at have also received complaints against her.

Tanushka, who ran a pro-Palestine campaign, said: "I was deeply saddened by the recent vandalism of my campaign office in Church Road in Hove, which has also threatened the safety of our team.

“We have reported this to the police but we will not be diverted from our inclusive, joyful, pro-peace campaign.

“Despite the vandalism, we quickly regrouped and found a silver lining as it provided an opportunity for the community to come together and creatively repair our office front.
