Passenger Films Flight Attendant's Plane Crash Ballad
Passenger Ronn Vigh filmed a Southwest Airlines flight attendant serenading passengers with a version of Brian McKnight’s smash hit “Back At One” before a flight from Los Angeles to Oakland.
Vigh told Storyful he wasn’t a fan, and said, “It’s an inappropriate song to ring on the plane b/c in the music video for it, the singer dies in a plane crash and comes back as a ghost.”
His clip shows the attendant singing the lines: “Make you fall in love with me/If ever I believe my work is done,” as passengers can be heard finger-clicking in time.
In the video for the 1999 single, McKnight’s character returns to his home after a scene in which he is seen calling his partner from a stricken plane which is later seen crashed in a field. Credit: Ronn Vigh via Storyful
