Mahomes Sr., 53, was arrested after an affidavit said he was stopped in the 1100 block of West Gentry Parkway for driving slowly. A Tyler PD officer reported seeing an open 16 ounce can of Coors Light in the center console.

“I asked Patrick why he was drinking while driving. Patrick told me he had a few beers while watching a game at a local bar,” the officer said in the affidavit.
