Paul Hollywood moans the pressure of showbiz has made him fat and grey

Paul Hollywood has blamed his blossoming showbiz career for his expanding waistline and greying hair.

Ever heard of the term ‘silver fox’, Paul?

The flirty TV star thinks he resembles Father Christmas these days, though he has vowed that he’ll never undergo plastic surgery to improve his looks.

Paul, 51, has hosted The Great British Bake Off since 2010 and is due to return to the famous ‘…Bake Off’ tent later this year – along with Prue Leith, 77, Noel Fielding, 44, and Sandi Toksvig, 59 – for the first series since its move to Channel 4.

He’ll be seen first on BBC Two for his car show ‘Paul Hollywood’s Big Continental Road Trip’ and despite the pressures of needing to look his best on telly, the celebrity chef insists there’s “no chance” he’ll get botox like Simon Cowell did.

He told The Sun: “I’ll never go down to the botox route. No chance. I’ll grow old disgracefully. My hair is white. I’m like Father Christmas.

“I’m getting fatter, I’m getting whiter. I’m just turning into Father Christmas. I reckon in five years it will be perfect.”
