Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones Auctioning ‘Normal People’ Screening Tickets for Charity
Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones will reunite for a Normal People screening benefitting suicide prevention and mental health, the pair of actors announced Thursday.
Mescal and Edgar-Jones will join series director Lenny Abrahamson, Element Pictures and “other friends of the show” for the screening, which will take place in London on June 16 with raffle tickets to win entry starting at €45, or $48.75. The presentation will include all 12 episodes of the Emmy-nominated miniseries.

The two actors hinted at their reuniting earlier this week, with a photo of them together on Instagram.
The raffle will support Pieta, Ireland’s suicide and self-harm prevention charity, and UNICEF.
“We’ve never seen it on a big screen together, and we would love to see as many of you there as possible!” the pair wrote on the auction site. Fans can buy tickets here.
Normal People, an adaptation of Sally Rooney’s 2018 novel, launched the careers of both Mescal and Edgar-Jones. It followed social outcast Marianne (Edgar-Jones) and popular kid Connell (Mescal) through the end of their high school and college on-again, off-again romance.
Since then, Mescal has been nominated for an Oscar in Aftersun, starred in last year’s Emmy-nominated series All of Us Strangers and will appear in Ridley Scott’s upcoming Gladiator. Fans have seen Edgar-Jones in Where The Crawdads Sing, Under the Banner of Heaven and this summer’s Twisters.
Sales will end on June 10. At the time of publishing, the event had raised over €12,000, or close to $13,000.
