Paul O'Grady special to replace The Chase on ITV
For the Love of Dogs special with Camilla, the Queen Consort originally aired in December
ITV has announced that it will broadcast a repeat of a Paul O'Grady For the Love of Dogs special.
The news comes following O'Grady's sudden death at his home in Kent at the age of 67.
The royal special, which features an appearance by Camilla, the Queen Consort will air instead of The Chase on ITV this evening at 5pm.
Today's scheduled episode of The Chase will not air.

The special was originally broadcast in December last year in conjunction with the 160th birthday of Battersea Dogs Home of which O'Grady was a longtime ambassador and supporter.
The Royal Family's official Twitter account paid tribute to the broadcaster and comedian with a picture of Camilla and O'Grady along with the caption: "Deeply saddened to hear of the death of Paul O’Grady, who worked closely with Her Majesty in support of @Battersea_ , providing lots of laughter and many waggy-tailed memories."
ITV also paid tribute to O'Grady, who worked with the network since the 90s when he hosted Blankety Blank.

Kevin Lygo, the managing director of media and entertainment, said in a statement: "We are fortunate to have had a long association with Paul at ITV. He was a huge, inimitable talent, delighting our viewers through his comedy and entertainment with a warmth, humour and joy that audiences of all generations related to and connected with."
He added: "He had a profound passion for animals too, which resonated with so many viewers, and For the Love of Dogs remains one of our best-loved series and a really special programme for so many. All those who worked with Paul are shocked and deeply saddened at his passing and the thoughts of everyone at ITV are with Paul's loved ones."

Paul O'Grady: For the Love of Dogs - A Royal Special will air at 5pm on Wednesday 29th March 2023 on ITV1.
