Celebrity quizzers appearing in episode one will be comedian Katherine Ryan, athlete Denise Lewis, MasterChef presenter Gregg Wallace and rapper Big Zuu.

They'll be facing up to Sinha's quiz of four challenging rounds which includes questions on clips of the most talked-about TV moments from recent years, identifying a TV character from a set of clues given by celebrity guests, and the dramatic final spotlight round.

Who will prove themselves worthy of a spot on The Chase team and who will crash out of the competition?

In 2019, Sinha was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and recently told 5 News: “I see life very differently from before the diagnosis. Before the diagnosis I was trundling along.

“Now there’s a sense of urgency to just get things done, although I consider myself quite fortunate to not really have a bucket list as such.

“I mean, I’ve been to all the places that I really really really want to go, I’ve done the things I really really really want to do. For me now, it’s more in a broader sense enjoying life, embracing life and enjoying the company of great people.”

Paul Sinha's TV Showdown begins on Saturday at 9.40pm on ITV.
