Payback: Viewers confused over location swap as new thriller debuts on ITV
Line Of Duty's Jed Mercurio was an executive producer on the show
Payback viewers have admitted they were baffled to see the Edinburgh-set show was filmed in Glasgow.
The new thriller - executive produced by Line Of Duty creator Jed Mercurio and starring Morven Christie - follows a woman whose accountant husband is killed in the street.
It debuted on ITV this week, and some eagle-eyed viewers spotted that while the action was supposed to be taking place in Edinburgh, much of it appeared to have been shot in Glasgow.

One confused fan posted on X, which was formerly Twitter: "OK, liking #Payback so far; and great cast. But why set it in Edinburgh and then film most of it in Glasgow?"
Another commented: "Beautiful Glasgow playing Edinburgh. Not quite sure why."
"So far, I’m unable to fully enjoy this #Payback TV show because it’s supposed to be set in Edinburgh but exterior shots are Glasgow," said someone else.
Despite the location issue, many viewers said they were "gripped" by the new series, calling it "brilliant" and "a cracker".
One tweeted: "I hold ITVX responsible for me trailing to bed at 5am given after the first episode I had to binge the entire series. #MorvenChristie was fantastic as were all cast particularly #PrasannaPuwanarajah & #EileenDuffy."
Another chimed in: "#morvenchristie you are superb as always, very engaging and enthralling, great start to a new series."
Somebody else said the show looked "promising", adding: "Tense 1st episode."
"Well that was a fantastic 1st episode, I’m gripped already!" said another.
Some people, however, took issue with the plot.
