Pedestrians narrowly escape collapsing canopy in Bangkok

Pedestrians narrowly escaped a collapsing 50-year-old building canopy on Charoen Krung Road in Bangkok, Thailand. The 10x25 meter gypsum structure crumbled, striking parked vehicles, and sparking power cables. No injuries were reported but authorities closed two lanes for debris clearance. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the collapse.
