People Climb on NYC Subway Entrance as 'Chaos' Ensues at Influencer Event

Large crowds filled New York’s Union Square Park on Friday, August 4, ahead of an influencer event in the area.

The event was held by Kai Cenat, a popular social media figure, who told fans he promised to give away free PlayStation consoles to the public in the area on Friday afternoon, local media reported. The event drew large crowds and led to “chaos,” according to the report.

The New York Police Department urged the public to avoid Union Square while officers responded to the incident.
