Introducing the Centenario, Lamborghini’s new out-of-this-world supercar – yours for just £1.7million.

With a top speed of over 217mph – and a 0-62mph in just 2.8 seconds – the sleek, aerodynamic motor has petrolheads everywhere purring.

But even if you could stump up the hefty asking price – it’s too late. It’s already sold out.

Only 40 have been made – 20 coupes and 20 roadsters – with delivery expected at the end of the year.

The car boats a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated 12-cylinder engine and around 760bhp.

Lamborghini president and CEO Stephan Winkelmann said: “It is the most fitting tribute to Ferruccio Lamborghini in his centenary year: a man who created an exceptional brand, believed that anything was possible, and produced extraordinary, iconic cars.

It’s fair to say Twitter was impressed.
