“Perfect Match”'s Micah Hits Back at Stevan After He Calls Her a 'Fun Sponge' Who 'Gets Rid' of Joy (Exclusive)

After Stevan Ditter claimed his former season 2 match Micah Lussier "takes this fun and just soaks it all up and gets rid of it," she tells PEOPLE he clearly "didn't take the time to get to know me"

Warning: this story contains spoilers from episodes 1-6 of Perfect Match season 2.

Love Is Blind's Micah Lussier is not letting Stevan Ditter have the final word.

The two reality stars are featured on season 2 of Perfect Match, and though they were paired up at the beginning of the season, the two developed stronger connections with other people by episode 6. (Micah is currently with Kaz Bishop while Stevan is paired with Alara Taneri.)

Despite going their separate ways, it did not appear that they were on the best of terms as Stevan attempted to thwart Micah and Kaz's connection by putting Kaz on a blind date with Holly Scarfone. Before doing so, Stevan claimed Kaz needed someone more exciting and said Micah was a "fun sponge" because she sucked the enjoyment out of everything.

"I think Micah is, in the nicest way possible, a fun sponge," the Too Hot to Handle star told cameras. "She takes this fun and just soaks it all up and gets rid of it."

Now, Micah is responding to his comments, telling PEOPLE that he never had a chance to get to know the real her.

"I've definitely heard this a few times," she says of the "fun sponge" insult. "I was doing my best. I've definitely heard this, that this was a little bit of a murmur through the house."

"I think that for one, coming into a situation like this, I remember even the first day, it's really intense to walk into a room with people that are all so confident and used to being in the spotlight when you come from a show like Love Is Blind, where it's much more muted, and you don't necessarily need to put on a persona or a show," she continues. "So that was a little bit hard for me in general, but I think the people that felt like I didn't have a fun energy were people that didn't take the time to get to know me."

In episode 6, Stevan attempted to set Kaz up with someone else because he didn't think Micah was a good match for his friend, who appeared on Dated and Related.

"She's a completely different person that I don't think fits him," he said. "For Kaz, he needs someone with a higher energy. Someone that brings him out of his shell and not settles him back down."

He also broached the topic with Kaz after putting him on a blind date with Holly, telling his friend, "If Micah's around, you're more silent... I don't like seeing you sucked into a lower vibration than you usually are."

"If you choose Micah, that's great for you, but then you are essentially, in my opinion, shutting down the rest of this experience," he added.

Episode 6 left off with a cliffhanger as fans aren't sure whether Kaz picks Holly or Micah to match up with. At the end of the episode, he and Micah got into an argument after she accused him of lying about his interactions with Holly on their date.

If Kaz selects Micah, he'll send Holly home after just one night. If he chooses Holly, Micah will go home after appearing on season 2 since the first episode. However, it doesn't appear the person who gets sent home will be gone for long as a teaser for the next batch of episodes teased the entire cast returning to the villa to shake things up.
