Pete Davidson's mom Amy is remembering her late husband Scott, who died on 9/11.
On Monday, the Saturday Night Live alum's mom shared several throwback photos of Scott, a New York City firefighter who died in the 2001 terrorist attacks, to mark the 22nd anniversary of the tragedy.
“Happiest days of my life and I didn’t know it 💙” she captioned the Instagram post. “Never forget and always be grateful 💙”
The snapshots included Amy and Scott sharing a hug, a young Pete trying on his father’s firefighting gear and his sister Casey smiling in her dad’s arms.

In March, Pete, now 29, recalled the way he learned his father had died during the 9/11 attacks.
"My dad told me he was going to pick me up from school on 9/11. I got picked up by my mom,” he said on Real Ones podcast. “She didn't tell me what was going on for like, three days."
He continued, "She kept telling me, 'Dad's at work,' 'He's coming home,' whatever. I had no idea."

The comedian, who was seven at the time, shared that his mom “grounded” him from watching television, likely to avoid media coverage of the attacks.
He added, "Then one night, I turned on the TV and I just saw my dad on the TV. I was like, 'Oh, OK.' And they were like, these are all the firemen that are, like, dead."
"It was weird because we didn't know he was dead for, like, three weeks," he explained. "They were finding people, you know? They were pulling people out of s---, and there was just some sort of hope. Like, it was just up and down and nobody knew how to deal with it."
Both Pete and his sister Casey have since paid tribute to their father on past anniversaries of the attacks.
