Peter Andre has taken to Instagram to gush about his latest career venture, with the 44-year-old star revealing that he has landed his first ever movie role.

Woohoo, congrats, Pete.

Watch out Hollywood, here he comes.

As if that wasn’t enough, the ‘Mysterious Girl’ hitmaker teased his fans as he admitted that his role in the movie was “damn big” – making us think that he is going to feature quite heavily rather than be a mere celebrity cameo.

Sharing a photo of himself posing with the script for upcoming thriller ‘The Undoing’, Peter wrote: “Finally. I’ve received (after months of talks) my first ever film script.

“Start filming in LA next year, and… it’s a damn big part… wahoo!”

The film looks seriously creepy.

He later quipped: “I’ve only waited 44 years!”

The father-of-four followed up with the movie poster for the film, with the eerie snap showing a person walking down a dark corridor with a ghost-like handprint.

He gushed: “Here it is!

“Can’t wait to start filming.”

With the tag line: “There are some things you don’t want to know. This is one of them”, the movie sounds like it is definitely not for the fainthearted but we are sure that Pete is more than up for the challenge.

Peter shot to fame in the 90s.

Launching his career in the 1990s as a hunky pop singer, Peter has seen his career go from strength to strength following a stint in the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here jungle.

Following a short-lived marriage to Katie Price, Peter has enjoyed a glittering TV career as well as releasing his own perfumes and even a book.

We’re sure that Hollywood will be yet another success under Pete’s belt.
