Peter Andre reveals daughter's sweet 'nickname' as couple struggle to agree

Peter Andre has shared an endearing video, revealing the affectionate nickname for his newborn daughter as he and wife Emily struggle to settle on a permanent name.

The pop star, 51, took to Instagram to share the family's temporary solution for their little girl's moniker "bubba." In the heartwarming clip, Peter expresses his deep love for the newest addition to their family, praising wife Emily as an incredible mum.

He captioned the video with touching words: "The love I have for our baby is one thing. The love I have for Emily is another love altogether. What an incredible mum she is and what a truly beautiful gift she has given us. We all love bubba so much. And she STILL has no name."

Fans were quick to respond to the post, offering numerous suggestions for the baby's name reports the Mirror. One fan suggested: "How about Bianca, Petra Emily Andre girl versions of Peter, or Petunia Rose Andre."

Another chimed in with: "What about Poppy? Poppy Andre? That would be so cute." One fan suggested with with: "Hear me out on this one, you should call her Andy. Andy Andre? Now that has a ring to it."

An additional voice chimed in: "What's the rush? She's going to be called that name for the rest of her life so there's literally no rush or no point in worrying about it. It will come to you when it comes to you and it will be perfect for you and Emily."

In a heartfelt video, Peter coos over his newborn darling, admitting: "Obviously it's always hard at the beginning, but she's such a good baby. She's just perfect. She's got all of Theo's features but with the dark colouring. I just love her."

Peter earlier disclosed that he and Emily found themselves in a deadlock regarding their baby girl's name, who made her entrance into the world earlier this month. In an act of surrender, dad-of-five Peter passed the baton to Emily to make the final decision, relieving himself from further responsibility.

With paternal pride, Peter also counts Amelia, 10, and Theo, 7, whom he shares with Emily, as well as Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, from his previous relationship with Katie Price, amongst his brood.

Opening up about the dilemma of selecting a suitable moniker for his newly born daughter, Peter voices his hope that Emily would make a fitting choice. He confesses: "We are still no closer to a name for our newest bundle of joy."

"Any time Emily and I talk about it, it just gets put aside. Since Emily and I agreed for her to be the one to choose, it seems to have slowed down the process even more," Peter revealed to OK! Magazine.

He shared: "She is recovering after all, so I totally get it. We have less than four weeks left before we have to register her. I took our baby for a walk in her pram for the first time to drop Millie and Theo at school. It's beautiful to do these things all over again."

In a recent update, the ex-singer mentioned that he and his wife Emily are still undecided on a name for their newborn daughter. The delighted father expressed that his dreams were fulfilled earlier this month when Emily, aged 34, welcomed their little girl into the world.

The baby tipped the scales at 7lb 3oz and was born at Musgrove Hospital in Taunton, Somerset.
