Photo competition to highlight the work of Norfolk charities

Norfolk charities are vying for the top prize in a community photo contest.

The organisations are showcasing their work as part of the annual Norfolk Day Photo Competition, run by the Norfolk Community Foundation.

They are invited to send in their images, with a grand prize of £500 for the winning team.

The charity Stepping Stones won last year, with Centre 81 and Harpley Community Craft Club as runners-up, receiving £300 and £200 respectively.

In 2023, the Foundation received more than 100 entries.

Claire Cullens, its chief executive, said: “Celebrating the community work of local charities and voluntary groups is an everyday point of pride for us.

"Norfolk Day provides a unique opportunity to showcase the very best of Norfolk, including the remarkable individuals who are making a positive impact in their communities.

"We are excited to see what groups have been up to this year."

The winners will be announced on July 27, Norfolk Day.
