IN PICTURES: BCP election count 2024 as it happened

THERE was celebration and disappointment in a night that has seen big changes for BCP.

Former MPs Tobias Ellwood and Sir Conor Burns were unable to hold their seats with Labour making historic wins.

Jessica Toale and Tom Hayes won Bournemouth West and Bournemouth East respectively.

Meanwhile, Sir Christopher Chope retained his seat for the eighth time, making him the only remaining Conservative MP in the BCP area.
