Pictures: Tube strike causes travel chaos as millions battle to get into work

A 24-hour strike has caused travel chaos on the London Underground as commuters across the capital struggle to get into work.

Partial services are running on several lines, but most Zone One stations are closed.

The RMT said the strike was caused by the closure of a number of station control rooms and the shedding of 834 staff.

Sadiq Khan, who promised “zero days of strikes” before being elected as mayor, said TfL’s negotiating team would “be available around the clock to resolve this dispute”.
