Piers Morgan admits ‘I never liked that little bird anyway’ in latest Twitter rant
The broadcaster shared his opinion on the latest change to Twitter by owner Elon Musk
Piers Morgan has given his take on the new Twitter logo after owner Elon Musk axed the infamous blue bird from the firm’s symbol.
Former Good Morning Britain host Morgan - famed for his controversial rants and arguments on the social networking platform - shared his opinion on the upgrade from a silhouette of a bird to an edgy and futuristic X.
Talking to Fox News on the Fox And Friends segment Morgan admitted feeling no remorse at seeing the back of the globally recognisable artwork as Musk unveils his latest change to the business.

He said: "I like it, I never liked that little damn bird anyway. It was a very annoying-looking bird, and now we've got a very cool-looking X - I also like the fact it is annoying the right people."
Morgan previously found himself in hot water when his Twitter account was hacked late last year and several inappropriate messages were shared.
The incident in December 2022 saw the culprit write a slew of racist remarks and hurling insults.

The unknown assailant sent messages to Morgan's 8.3million followers while the TalkTV host was asleep.
Among the messages was a false claim that controversial figure Andrew Tate had been shot dead in Dubai, and derogatory messages about the queen.
Tate later responded saying he was "hard to kill".
The mystery tweeter also targeted Ed Sheeran, branding him a "ginger f***er" in the swiftly deleted messages.
There were also multiple uses of offensive slurs during the hour-long tirade on the account, with Morgan's name changed multiple times.
At the time followers encouraged the hacker to share Morgan's private DMs, but they refused, saying they had found "nothing interesting".

The change at Twitter HQ is the latest decision to raise eyebrows since Musk took control of the company, with his decision to axe the Twitter Verified feature in favour of the Twitter Blue subscription service also causing controversy amongst users of the app.
Celebrities and public figures found themselves stripped of the coveted blue tick, which was previously only available to users who were deemed at risk of being imitated by fraudsters.
The tick is now available to anyone willing to pay the monthly subscription fee as part of Musk’s drive to make the business more profitable.
