Two popular A Place in the Sun hosts were wished well after landing a new role together on the BBC.

Jasmine Harman, 48, and Laura Hamilton, 41, have presented the hit Channel 4 show for a combined total of 33 years. As viewers will know, each episode has a different expert at its helm, in a range of exotic locations.

Hosts will then take potential buyers around a number of properties hoping to help them find their perfect holiday or forever homes in the sun. On Saturday, however, Jasmine shared that she and Laura will appear on our screens together in a completely different role. They will star in tonight's episode of Pointless Celebrities on BBC One.

Sharing a photo of themselves on the show, Jasmine said: "Pointless Celebrities… well I’m sure we’ve been called worse!!! Check out mine and @laurahamiltontv ‘s efforts against some other pointless celebs on @bbcone #Pointless Saturday 13th April at 19:45.

"I’m not joking when I say you will NOT BELIEVE what happened in the end! Let me know what you think of it?"

Fans have rushed to wish the two well in the comments section as Tommy said: "Surely worth a watch 2 favourite presenters." Gary said: "Will be watching Jasmine" and Ashley simply sent a series of heart emojis.
