A Place In The Sun's Jasmine Harman shares insights into her family's 'overwhelming' adjustment to life in Spain

A Place In The Sun's Jasmine Harman has given fans a glimpse into her family's new life in Spain following their move from the UK last year. The 48-year-old presenter, along with her husband Jon Boast and their two children, Joy, nine, and Albion, seven, have been living in Estepona for the past eight months.

They share their new home with their dog Astro and newly rescued cat Hazel. In an update to her followers, Jasmine admitted that adjusting to their new surroundings was still "a bit overwhelming" but they were slowly getting used to it.

She shared: "And it's not me now who has to do the commute, it's the husband." On the topic of her puppy's health after recent surgery due to swallowing a ball, she happily informed that he has now "fully recovered".

Speaking to Best Magazine, she added: "He's had a few mishaps in Spain as well, but he's loving life. He has walks in the mountains, he has a dip in the sea. We've also taken on a little rescue kitten and now they are proper little pals. I'm getting a proper menagerie together," reported the Express.

Jasmine decided to relocate from the UK to Spain for a "much better balance" between work and personal life, having frequently commuted between the two countries. She announced her decision on Instagram last year, describing the move as "intense" yet exciting.

She wrote: "Life has many ups and downs. Sometimes the hardest things to do, bring the greatest rewards. Moving country has been stressful and intense and at times, overwhelming. But now we're here and we plan to make the most of it!"

TV's Jasmine Harman has kept her followers in the loop with accounts of her sunny overseas life, after years of finding dream homes for others on the small screen. Earlier this year in April, she posted a video on her Instagram showing the adorable progress of her dog getting along with a new-rescued kitten, reported the Mirror.

She captioned the reel: "When we rescued a kitten in December, we had no idea how little Hazel would fit in with our dog. But, with a lot of hard work and patience, Astro has won her over with his calm and kind nature!"

As part of their 20 years anniversary celebrations last month, Jasmine shared a seldom-seen photo of the couple enjoying some quiet time together. The caption read: "Happy 20 years @jboasty_dop goodbye Mr. Mop. #aintnothingliketherealthing #anniversary."

Her post was met with an outpouring of congratulatory remarks from her 178,000 followers, which she responded to warmly. Jasmine and Jon first met on the Channel 4 set where he worked as a cameraman for seven years. This lead to their romance blossoming, their marriage in 2009, and subsequently, their two children.
