A new takeaway could soon be opening in Nottingham at the site of a former hair and beauty salon. The City Council has received a planning application requesting permission for a new illuminated sign to be placed on the outside of the business, with the new takeaway called Hotville.

This fried chicken fast food chain currently has two locations in Leicester but is planning on opening a third, as well as the site in Nottingham and one in Birmingham. The menu boasts a huge range of tasty items, including burgers, Nashville specials, combo meals, waffles and it's legendary milkshakes.

The Alfreton Road premise, on the city centre border with Radford, was formerly Achievers hair and beauty salon, which is understood to have closed towards the end of 2022 or the start of 2023. The site has already received permission to be turned into a takeaway or restaurant from a previous planning application earlier this year.

The latest application was submitted on behalf of Mrs Razan Karim.
