What to Do if You Have Recalled Planters Nuts

Exposure to Listeria monocytogenes can result in a listeriosis infection, which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, pregnant people, adults over 65, and those with weakened immune systems.

At the time of this writing, there have been no reports of illness related to this recall, but if you have the recalled product, do not consume it. Hormel Foods Sales, LLC (Planters' parent company) urges consumers to discard the product or return it to the store where it was purchased for an exchange.
