Police are investigating a 'high risk' incident in the Black Country. Officers were alerted to the assault in Dudley on Saturday, June 29.

Brierley Hill Police responded after reports of a victim had been assaulted by their partner. A man was arrested on suspicion of 'domestic assault' and was set to remain in custody overnight, police said.

Officers shared an image of a marked police car parked up following the incident, which was branded a "high risk domestic abuse case." The team then handed over the case to the force's public protection unit (PPU).
