A 19-year-old who was reported missing has now been found safe and well.

Aidan Hall was last seen in the Teal Farm area of Washington at about 1.40pm on Monday, April 15. Officers and his family launched a public appeal after growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Northumbria Police urged anyone with information on where Aidan, from Washington, might be to get in touch. The force has now confirmed that he has been found safe and well.

They have thanked everyone who shared their appeal to locate him.
