Police appeal after ‘hit and run’ in Tameside

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses to come forward after a ‘hit and run incident’ in Tameside.

Officers have said the incident on Talbot Road, Hyde involved a black Audi estate and happened between 3pm and 3.45pm on Tuesday (June 18).

In an appeal issued today (Friday) Greater Manchester Police urged any witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.

Police said in a post on the GMP Tameside South & West Facebook page: “#APPEAL | Officers are investigating a hit and run incident which occurred on Talbot Road #Hyde.

“The incident happened between 3:00pm and 3:45pm on Tuesday 18/06/24. The vehicle is described as a black Audi estate.

“Did you see anything? Do you have any CCTV or dashcam footage? If you do please contact us quoting Log 1178 of 19/06/24.”
