Police appeal for information following report of vandalism and fire raising

Police are appealing for information following a report of vandalism and fire raising in Coatbridge.

The incident is believed to have taken place in the town's Broughton Place between 3am and 3.30am last Friday.

It is understood that two men in dark clothing were seen to run from the location and police are appealing to anyone who may have more information to come forward.

Officers are continuing to review CCTV footage from in and around the area for any additional information on the suspects.

Detective Constable Brown, from Coatbridge police station, said: “If you believe you can assist our enquiries, please call the police on 101, quoting incident 0416 of May 10.

"Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where you can give information anonymously."
