POLICE have launched an appeal after a man was seen urinating in Minchinhampton High Street.

According to the community alert, the incident happened at around 9pm yesterday, Friday, June 28.

Gloucestershire Police describe the man as roughly 18 years old, 6ft tall, skinny build, mousey brown, and short hair.

He was also wearing glasses, a grey hoodie and a red rucksack, officers say.

In the UK, public urination was made a criminal offence under the 1986 Public Order Act.

Anyone found guilty of public urination may be fined for it.
