Police and Bicyclist Nearly Hit by 'Drunk Driver' in Virginia
Dramatic footage shows the moment a driver crashed into a police cruiser as an officer stopped to speak with a bicyclist about the dangers of biking at night in Virginia on December 6.
According to Fairfax County Police, an officer had pulled over a bicyclist to give him safety advice when a “drunk driver” rammed into his cruiser.
“Because of where they were standing, nobody was seriously hurt,” the department said on Facebook, and urged people not to drink and drive. Credit: Fairfax County Police Department via Storyful
