Police CCTV appeal after tools worth £5,000 stolen from van
Police are investigating after tools worth £5,000 were stolen from a van in Leicester. Detectives have released CCTV images of a man they want to identify who could have information to help.
The tools were taken from the vehicle in the early hours of Friday, March 29 in Macaulay Street. A wallet was also stolen, and a bank card was then used in a shop nearby.
Police said the victim relied on the tools for his business and the theft had led to "significant disruption" to his work. Anyone who can help with information is being asked to get in touch.

PC Sam Gillespie, officer in the case, said: “The victim relied on these tools to earn a living and a theft of such high value has caused significant disruption to his business. We are keen to identify the man in this image as he may be able to help with our ongoing enquiries."
