Police concerned for safety of boy, 15, and elderly man missing from Nottingham and Mansfield

Nottinghamshire Police officers are concerned for the safety of a 15-year-old boy from Nottingham and an elderly man from Mansfield. Shamas, whose surname has not been revealed by the force, is 15 and was last seen in Nottingham city centre on Tuesday, June 25, at around 9am.

The boy was reported missing from the St Ann's area. He is 5ft7in tall, of medium build, with shoulder length dark, curly hair.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket and black tracksuit bottoms. A spokesperson for the police said: "Have you seen missing Shamas, 15? We are concerned for his safety and urgently want to hear from anyone who has seen him.

"If you have seen Shamas or have any information about his whereabouts, please contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 906 of 27 June 2024." An elderly man from Mansfield has also been reported missing from the area at around 8.30am on Thursday, June 27.

Philip, whose last name and age have not been revealed, is known to have been on Market Place in Mansfield town centre at 9am on June 27 but it is unknown where afterwards. Philip is described as around 5ft10in tall and is of stocky build.

He is described as having short grey hair and stubble. He was last seen wearing glasses, a green short-sleeved shirt, beige trousers, and grey/blue trainers. He was also carrying a green/cream top.

A spokesperson for the police said: "Have you seen Philip? Officers are concerned for his safety after he was reported missing from the Mansfield area at around 8.30am on Thursday 27 June 2024.

"If you have seen Philip or have any information about his whereabouts, please contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 431 of Thursday 27 June 2024."
