Police cordoned off a city centre street.

Officers were called to Roscoe Lane, just off Roscoe Street, in Liverpool city centre on the morning of Saturday, May 25. A force incident manager for Merseyside Police told the ECHO it was in relation to a "concern for welfare".

Pictures of the scene show a cordon outside The City of Liverpool College and Roscoe Lane, which the force incident manager said would "likely be in place for a while". An eyewitness also told the ECHO an ambulance had been on the scene.
