A woman was taken to hospital after being found collapsed in her car.

Police cordoned off Noctorum Way in Prenton, Wirral, on Saturday, May 18, near to the junction with Hogarth Drive. Merseyside Police said the incident involved an elderly woman who collapsed at the road side in her car.

Officers were called to the area at 7.10pm and a cordon remained in place at 11.30pm. The woman remains in hospital where she is receiving treatment, police said.
