Concerns are growing for a missing man who vanished over two weeks ago.

Merseyside Police have issued a new appeal today (Monday) for missing Trevor Jones, 50, from Wavertree, who vanished 16 days ago. The 50-year-old was last seen near Old Swan Library on the morning of Saturday, May 4.

Trevor is 5ft 6in tall and of slim build with brown eyes and a balding head and was last seen wearing a black fleece, tracksuit pants, a plain blue T-shirt, a dark green fleece jacket, a waterproof style blue coat that has a rip on the back and grey Under Armour trainers. He was carrying a drawstring-style carrier bag.

Merseyside Police has said extensive enquiries are ongoing to find him. He is known to frequent the Liverpool city centre, Old Swan and Kensington areas.
