Police issue urgent appeal to find missing man, 65, last seen two days ago

Police are urging people to look out for a missing Stockport man who was last seen two days ago. Alan was last seen on Etherow Avenue, in Romiley, at around 10pm on Sunday (July 7).

The 65-year-old's surname has not been given by Greater Manchester Police. He is described as white, with a shaved head and blue eyes.

At the time of his disappearance, Alan was last seen wearing a black jacket, dark blue jeans and mustard-coloured shoes. GMP says he is also likely to be wearing a small earring in his left ear, in the shape of a leaf.

A photo of Alan has been issued on social media today (Tuesday) alongside an urgent appeal to find him. A GMP spokesperson added: "Officers want to make sure he is safe and well."
