Police name fatal A3072 crash victim as family pay tribute

The family of a man who died in a crash near Holsworthy have paid an emotional tribute to him. Graham Bowyer, 61, passed away in hospital following a single-vehicle collision on the A3072.

Devon and Cornwall Police were called to the scene at around 8.45pm on Wednesday, June 5. The crash involved a silver Mercedes and its driver, Mr Bowyer, was rushed to Derriford Hospital.

He sadly died in hospital as a result of the injuries he sustained in the crash. His family have now paid tribute to him and thanked the emergency services for their work.

His family said: “Graham was the son of Veronica and the late Robin Bowyer. He was one of six siblings and was a father to Sally, Claire, Kerry and Darren.

“Graham had a love for classic cars and would enjoy spending time with his family at classic car shows. He was also a good craftsman and would enjoy helping his mother. Graham was a keen supporter of the air ambulance and would make regular donations to this charity.

“Graham will be missed by his entire family and his family would like to thank all emergency services involved in the incident and we appreciate the support from Derriford’s ICU Pencarrow ward.”
