Police release CCTV clips of tragic Guide Post road rage victim Andrew Peart before extent of his injuries became apparent

Footage showing tragic road rage victim Andrew Peart walking around after he had been attacked has been released.

In the immediate aftermath of Jake McIntyre's assault of Andrew, the 39-year-old had a lump on his head but did not seem badly hurt. It was only later that his condition deteriorated and he died eight days later.

McIntyre has been cleared of murdering Andrew following an altercation in Guide Post, Northumberland, after Andrew was said to have stepped out in front of McIntyre's Mitsubishi Shogun, but he was convicted of manslaughter at Newcastle Crown Court and will be sentenced at a later date.

Northumbria Police have released three clips showing Andrew on the night of the attack last August, after he had been assaulted. One shows him walking in the immediate aftermath, another depicts him attending a fuel station and a third shows him being taken into hospital.

McIntyre, 28, of Stakeford Crescent, Stakeford, Ashington, will be sentenced once pre-sentence reports have been compiled.
