Police reports for May 16, 2024
The following list was compiled from reports to area law enforcement agencies:
Owensboro Police Department
• A juvenile was charged Tuesday with first-degree rape and kidnapping of a minor.
• Three juveniles were charged Tuesday with first-degree robbery.
• Ryan H. Bartholomy, 33, of the 600 block of Allen Street was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence.
• Kaley M. Andeson, 24, of the 900 block of Cottage Drive was charged Tuesday with first-degree robbery and second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor.
• Frankie M. Polnitz, 34, homeless, was charged Tuesday with receiving stolen property over $1,000 and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth).
• Lantya F. Baize, 29, of the 1500 block of West Fourth Street was charged Tuesday with receiving stolen property over $1,000.
• Joshua B. Napper, 44, of Brandonburg, was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence.
• A juvenile was charged Monday with trafficking in marijuana (8 ounces to 5 pounds).
• A backpack was reported stolen Tuesday in a robbery in the 1700 block of Alexander Avenue.
• Cash, a handbag and prescription drugs were reported stolen from West Fifth Street.
• A Cheverolet Cruz worth $1,000 was reported stolen Tuesday from the 1800 block of Triplett Street.
Daviess County Sheriff’s Office
• William C. Inklebarger, 64, of the 5300 block of Windy Hollow Road was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence and first-degree wanton endangerment.
• Tuyler R. Sowder, 26, of the 2200 block of Belmont Drive was charged Tuesday with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (fentanyl), first-degree possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl), first-degree possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and tampering with physical evidence.
• James D. Taylor, 23, of the 2000 block of Hughes Avenue was charged Tuesday with manufacturing methamphetamine and first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
• Lauren T. Turner, 22, of the 2200 block of Belmont Avenue was charged Tuesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl) and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (cocaine).
• Roy L. Wright, 51, of homeless, was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence, first-degree fleeing/evading police (motor vehicle) and first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (meth).
