Police reports for May 3, 2024

The following list was compiled from reports to area law enforcement agencies:

Owensboro Police Department

• Codi A. Devins, 31, of Hazard, was charged Wednesday with kidnapping (adult) and first-degree unlawful imprisonment.

• Whitney L. O’Bryan, 36, of the 6800 block of Old Kentucky 81, was charged Wednesday with fraudulent use of a credit card over $1,000.

• A Mazda CX9 worth $2,300 was reported stolen Wednesday from the 2100 block of East 19th Street.

• An unknown amount of property was reported stolen Wednesday during a burglary at Tenth Street Missionary Baptist Church, 1213 East 10th St.

• Lottery tickets were reported stolen Wednesday during a burglary at a store in the 300 block of East Fourth Street.

• Electric wire worth $3,750 was reported stolen Wednesday in a burglary at a home in the 1000 block of Cottage Drive.

• Furniture, a purse, a television a bank card and bank statements and frozen food were reported stolen Wednesday in a burglary at a home in the 700 block of Poindexter Street.

• A duffle bag, jewelry, bank cards, makeup, cash and personal hygiene items were reported stolen Wednesday from a home in the 3300 block of Ridgewood Street.

Daviess County Sheriff’s Office

• Donna L. Defranco, 57, of Harrison, Tennessee, was charged Thursday with theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting) over $1,000.

• David J. Sands, 32, of Utica, was charged Thursday with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

• A storage unit sustained damage during a burglary Wednesday in the 5200 block of Kentucky 54.
