Police Respond to 'Major Incident' in Glasgow's West George Street

Police in Glasgow urged the public to avoid West George Street as they responded to an incident on Friday, June 26. A police officer was stabbed in the incident in Glasgow city centre, the Scottish Police Federation said, according to local reports.

Police said just before 2pm that the situation was contained and there was no danger to the general public.
